Description

Reaming rock drill bits, also known as pilot reamer bit, is a hole opener that drills a pilot hole to a certain depth and then reams the hole to a larger diameter. It is mainly used for center hole reaming in long hole drilling. Threaded reaming bits are divided into integral reaming bit (dome type, pilot type) and split-type reaming bit. Dome reaming bits in top hammer drilling have a larger cutting diameter and are employed after the pilot hole is established. Their main function is to enlarge the hole to the desired final diameter, removing additional rock material in the process.

Application
